Now I have been a customer of broadband for several years now, I started with a Satellite service fast but expensive, then BT managed to get a hard-wire signal to us, and very poor it was to, kept cutting out, Bt's best average speed was 480kbs. This went on for two years, so I needed an alternative ADSL that did not use the BT type software from the Exchange otherwise I would blow a gasket and nothing would change only the cost of.
So in January 2009 I ended up on TalkTalk's doorstep, I have to say they are the best three months I have ever had with broadband, the ADSL speed went up by 50%, not only this but the sound quality on the Phone improved, HooRa I shout, its been excellent, and the bonus its even cheaper to boot, and the service lovely, we last our land line yesterday while they made improvements at the exchange so TalkTalk organised a forward of all my calls to my mobile, then when all was done they rang me up to say all was well and they would cancel the divert for me. I am really proud to be a TalkTalk customer. Well done.

BT's best average speed was 480kbs. This went on for two years, I could blow a gasket soon, nothing I could say would change this, I was always polite and calm, but inside I was fuming, they would do test after test, send engineers and test more, and still they would not invest in better equipment or software. Verbally I had to force them to cap the feed, it was resetting so often I would only be getting 124kbs for days on end.
So in January 2009 I ended up on TalkTalk's doorstep because they don't use BT's software at the exchange to drive the ADSL. I have to say they are so far the best three months I have ever had with broadband, the ADSL speed went up by 50%, and no resets, I would love to have stayed with BT but two years is a long time to put up with a disappointing service wouldn't you say.
