I have recently (a month ago) changed from one of the largest UK ISP's to XILO and have nothing than praise for them:
Facts: the max download I achieved with my former ISP was 4.5 MB and at peak times (after 5pm and on weekends) it dropped to 0.5 MB. Their call centre did what they had to do and that was, reading from a script always asking the same questions: are you connected directly to the router, did you reboot your router, well, you get the story. I was also told that the ISP had to cap the speed due to high usage ...
After 3 months I gave up.
I read about Xilo on "http://www.reviewcentre.com/Broadband-Reviews/UNO-Broadband--reviews_1385110 and I thought I'd give it a try.
Facts:
1. Contacted them and received response within ten minutes
2. Was set up within a week
3. Download Speed: Averaging 12 MB download!!! (most of the time 14.5 MB)
You may ask, how that is possible? No idea, I am not a techie, just a very satisfied user and the truth is: I don't care - period!
