After many moons on iDNET's various ADSL packages, starting with 5GB pcm ADSL (which was actually enough back in 2005!) and ending up on ADSL2+ unlimited, the need for more upload speed for WFH, home schooling, video calls etc. meant it was finally time to upgrade.
Contacted iDNET about 2 or so weeks back. Upgrade to FTTC 40/10 arranged quickly via email, new router arrived the next day, payments painlessly updated, cabinet switch-over date of Jan 28th was arranged and emailed to me within a few days of order.
Yesterday my broadband stopped about 11 am or so, so I plugged in new router. Some teething problems with WiFi RSS but Brian got back quickly with assistance (the Billion router needs a bit more antenna positioning care than my old Netgear) and I now have stronger WiFi than ever and have peaked about 37/9 Mbps via ethernet, so pretty much full advertised speed available.
All achieved with next to no effort required and excellent support throughout. Top marks again. This is why I stick with iDNET. A very happy customer.
Icing on the cake? In terms of price, I'd say iDNET's preium service comes at bargain price. Yeah, you can spend your life in call waiting either chasing limited-time deals to save 3 quid per month, or trying fruitlessly to get faults fixed with lesser ISPs, but for me.. I have better things to do with my time!
