Been with A&A for 2 months now (having previously used their VoIP services for many years) for our FTTC broadband. We had been experiencing reliability issues with our previous ISP, so decided to take the plunge with A&A despite the slightly higher pricing. So far, it's been rock solid. The comprehensive control panel with detailed usage monitoring is excellent for the more inquisitive user such as myself. While I haven't had to call on tech support for much so far, the interaction I have had has been handled quickly, professionally and, as you'd expect from A&A, there's no messing around with long call waits, annoying menu systems, generic scripted answers and so on.
We ported our landline to VoIP at the same time as signing up, which went through quickly. Though we don't generally use the landline for outgoing calls, it's good to know that the call prices are extremely cheap if we ever do need to. The actual broadband switchover was very straightforward, and of course if you're happy with your current router/modem (as we are) then there's no need to switch to an ISP-provided device. We have gone for the 5TB package, and I don't think there's a risk we'll be exceeding that!
Overall, yes, A&A are more expensive than the various headline deals offered by the big providers, but in terms of reliability and service quality it is, for me at least, very much worthwhile.
