The latest data from Hitwise (Experian) has revealed which websites UK broadband ISP customers tend to frequent the most. Google's internet search engine still dominates the pack for "Visited Websites" with a 9.59% market share in July, although Facebook comes top for "Page Views" (i.e. amount of pages viewed/activity on the site).


Facebook's social network now accounts for a staggering 16.73% of UK page views (1 in every 6 Internet pages viewed in the UK was a Facebook page). However that figure is unlikely to change much considering that the site is almost at saturation point with 26m British users.
