Mobile operator Three UK looks set to disappoint new customers when it drops unlimited Mobile Broadband tethering support from related mobile tariffs (e.g. The One Plan) in March 2014, which will instead be replaced by a 2GB usage cap.

A joint £1,000 project undertaken by Northallerton Retail & Business Forum, Northallerton Town Council and Hambleton District Council has resulted in the installation of a new free wifi hotspot being deployed to cover Northallerton High Street.

UPD Sudbury Locals Left Without Broadband and Phone from BT for 2 Weeks

Residents and businesses on and around Melford Road in the small market town of Sudbury (Suffolk, England) have been left without broadband and phone services since 4th February 2014 when a car hit a local BT telegraph pole and damaged its cables.

The curse of skin deep Internet filtering (censorship) has struck again after a young pupil studying at St Stephens school in Port Glasgow (Scotland) found that she could access the pro-union website Better Together but was blocked from accessing the pro-independence Yes Scotland one due to a “policy violation” (hehe).
