BT Make Premium TV Sport Channels Available via YouTube and EE Mobile

Telecoms operator BT has announced that their premium BTSport TV channels will be streamed live via YouTube. On top of that any customers who take EE’s 4GEE pay monthly mobile plans will also be given access to the content, with details and pricing due to be revealed this summer.

Elsewhere mobile customers might be in for a difficult transition.

UK Cable ISP Virgin Media Grows to 4.76 Million Broadband Subscribers

Cable operator Virgin Media (Liberty Global) has released its latest results (Q1 2016 calendar) and revealed that they added +70,400 broadband subscribers in the quarter to make for a total of 4,765,300 (up from the +69K added in Q4 2015) and the reach of their network is continuing to expand.

French Operator Illiad SA Considers Buying O2 if Three UK Merger Fails
