Ofcom has today published their latest Q4 2017 UK consumer complaints study, which notes that TalkTalk attracted the most gripes for both fixed line home broadband and landline phone services. Meanwhile BT were the naughtiest child for both Mobile and Pay TV.

The Tesco.net email service, which was retained after Tesco’s broadband customers were sold to TalkTalk in 2015 (here), will be closed down for good on 27th June 2018. Despite this the platform has promised to continue forwarding its emails to another address of their users choice until 10th October.

BT has announced that they’ve today merged their ‘Business and Public Sector‘ and ‘Wholesale and Ventures‘ divisons in the UK and Republic of Ireland into a single unit – BT Enterprise. The operator stated that this move would “simplify its operating model” and “strengthen accountabilities.”

At the start of 2017 several ISPs, including BT, Virgin Media, TalkTalk and Sky Broadband, began sending the first internet piracy warning emails (“subscriber alerts“) to those suspected of taking part in copyright infringement (here). Today even the government are still clueless as to its progress.
