City-focused UK broadband ISP Hyperoptic has launched a new “Site-Wide Wi-Fi” solution for the Build-to-Rent (BTR) market, which for example means that residents in a particular area or large residential building could seamlessly roam around the development with their devices while continuing to stay connected via WiFi.

A new broadband ISP and network builder called Upp (formerly FibreMe) has today unveiled its plan to invest £1 billion in order to deploy a new gigabit-capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network across 1 million premises in Eastern England by 2025. Hundreds of new jobs will also be created.

Mobile operator Three UK has this week launched a new range of “Boundless Business” packages, which are said to offer unlimited calls, texts (SMS) and data (mobile broadband) SIM packs from just £5 +vat per month each (but you’ll need to buy ten or more of them to reach that price point).
