Thanks to readers (
here) for pointing out that the BBC's consumer affairs TV program, Watchdog, has begun a survey of UK broadband providers. Sadly it's rather limited and only lists some ISP's, still.. cast your votes
here.
Results will be announced on Wednesday 14th March 2007, at the shows new time of 8pm on BBC One. Elsewhere readers can find a summary of last nights program, which kicked things off by investigating broadband providers:
Complaints vary, but many of you tell us of the months spent waiting for a connection, slow internet speeds, and how hard it can be to move to a different provider. And when you call customer services to complain, things go from bad to worse. Rudeness, hours on hold, and never being called back were all common issues.
The full piece can be read
here, although it doesn't go into much detail.
