Good value, fast, fixed IP included (single IPv4 and IPv6 range), "use your own router" a selectable option. Can request an increase *and a* decrease in speed up to 1Gb at minimal cost without starting a new contract. Cancellation fees also appear reasonable, not that we have needed to do this! Support is quick to respond to queries - though my IPv6 questions were given terse (but correct) answers. Zero down time in 6 months - a breath of fresh air after the incompetence and dishonesty of "main stream" ISPs. Highly recommended - oh, I'm an IT professional, so really, they are good.

I have been with iDNET almost from they started. I was fed up with the big boys at the time throttling speed, poor customer service, constant disconnections and breakdowns. While it was more expensive, I have never regretted it. Fast speed, reliable connection, unbeatable customer service. Well worth paying that bit extra for the service provided.

We have received a service from IDNet for about six months. Installation was easy, the broadband has been reliable and consistent with speeds as expected and response times to any queries by phone and email have been excellent. We are pleased to support a certified B Corporation company.

I moved to iDNET when openreach installed FTTP about a year ago. Bills are easy to view on the website. I've only had to contact them once. They answered the phone straight away, were very helpful and even phoned me back to make sure my internet was working.
I was glad that they didn't raise my bills in April, unlike most other companies.

After experiencing very poor customer service from Virgin Media I terminated my contract and needed a new ISP. City Fibre had recently set up in my area and from a choice of about 10 ISPs I chose IDNet based on reviews on other sites, price, contract length and,if it came to it, termination charges. IDNet offered the level of servcice I wanted at a comptetitive price combined with a 12 month contract option but a penalty of only £12 for each unexpired month if I chose or needed to leave. To me this seemed much fairer than the usual practice of charging the full price to end of contract. Signing up was easy and custmer services were very quick to respond to a couple of queries I had. I was able to book a day and afternoon convenient for me for installation, the engineers were on time, very polite and friendly and even put shoe protectors on when in my home. Everything was left tidy and they checked everything was working before they left. Over the next week or so I had to contact customer services a couple more times (things I didn't understand rather than problems) and each time the staff were friendly and helpful and email replies were quick, clear and concise and gave me the information I needed.
If IDNet continue to provide this level of service then renewing with them at the end of my first year will be a no-brainer. Highly recommended,

I moved from Pipex to IDNet in 2006. I have been totally satisfied with them ever since. Their helpline is second to none and you get to speak (via an 0800 number)to a specialist in Hertfordshire. They speak with you at your level of technical understanding and are not script kiddies. From my experience they are unbeatable.

IDnet are "fine", I've been with them since 2011.

It's such as shame they've gone to efforts to earn B Corp credentials, who evidently are a part of the effort to push identity politics into every corner of our private lives:

I use FTTC with my own DrayTek router. The speed never appears to drop. I see very occasional service dropouts after midnight, which I have put down to BT Openworld rather than iDNet. I run an independent VoIP quite happily. I have never needed to call support. Not the cheapest, but I see no reason to change.
