IDnet are "fine", I've been with them since 2011.

It's such as shame they've gone to efforts to earn B Corp credentials, who evidently are a part of the effort to push identity politics into every corner of our private lives:

To understand what B Corp are up to:

I use FTTC with my own DrayTek router. The speed never appears to drop. I see very occasional service dropouts after midnight, which I have put down to BT Openworld rather than iDNet. I run an independent VoIP quite happily. I have never needed to call support. Not the cheapest, but I see no reason to change.

Been a customer for many years. Always incredibly grateful for, and impressed with, helpful customer service whatever the issue. Stable and reliable internet too.

despite having not been a customer for several weeks now they still think it is acceptable to spam me begging for comments on here and trust pilot. never seen something so desperate.

the network was poor. Support often had to jumping through hoops to prove an issue existed. i put this down to their use of the least cost option which is ZEN. i suffered nothing but poor speeds, packet loss, latency and all the while IDNET support blamed everything and wouldn't rule out ZEN as the problem even when comments i found in these very review sites and on forums echoing the same junk service and laxidaiscal support offering.

i moved to virgin and while they get a bad rap by some, the service has been stable and the one issue i did need to phone in was fixed within 24 hours, no blaming me the customer, just impressive service ownership until resolved and an apology.

they only get a 5 for service as i didn't use any services except the connection which i consider rated on speed and value.

I have been with these guys 15+ years, only ever had 2 issues, 1 BT's line fault and recently a modem that didn't like my BT line.
They resolved it very professionally, I was kept informed throughout and resolved fast. Brian in support was most helpful with this.
Connection never slows, even at peak times, I highly recommend them!

Title: Excelent
I have used idNET for quite a few years and although I've not had many problems when I have they were very good at sorting it out. They phone is always answered by a real person who is both polite and helpful which means a great lot to me.

Living in a tiny village, all of us with old, long copper exchange-only lines & still with no prospect of fibre anytime soon (max achievable speed currently of 4 mbps), the choice of ISP when I decided to join IDNet was somewhat limited. But it turned out to be a good one & worth it for the superb customer service alone - & with upwards of a dozen power cuts each year plus occasional direct lightning strikes, I suppose I've needed to seek the advice of their support personnel a bit more than most.

Always helpful, patient, friendly, knowledgeable & easily accessible by phone (one or two of their tech support folk in particular with encyclopaedic know-how) & several times going above & beyond to sort out complex problems, plus reasonable & competitive charges, has meant that my broadband service with IDNet is one less thing I have to worry about from day to day.

Openreach have been digging up town for many months. Kept checking if I could upgrade my Zen account, but OR checker kept moving the goal posts from Dec 2022 to Dec 2023, then Dec 2026. Suffering from miserable 3Mb upload limit that makes Zoom difficult and serious Dropbox usage impractical.

Then, last month Post card dropped through letterbox from FullFibreHeroes advertising FTTP now live. I had just come to end of contract with zen. Card mentioned IDnet as well as a number of ISPs neither I nor Trustpilot had heard of. Yes, it was true and live for my
address. Special startup offer gives 160/160Mbs for under £30 (less than I am paying now). Installed on Friday. Neat and tidy installation. Speed pretty much as promised. Packet loss a little high for first 24 hours but seems to be reducing as line beds in. IDnet very helpful and efficient. Minor set up issue as VLAN I’d needs to be 911 with 0 pbits (using own router). Chose ID net as they can offer variety of FTTC alternatives should there be issues with FullFibre backhaul (as well as being established company with good track record).
