Before we were with orange and the service was acceptable. 4MB Download 0.3MB Upload. The only poor note was the ping which hung around the 80ms mark and as a gamer 80ms didn't cut it.

Not only did the switch to Xilo bring my Ping down to 25ms their ultimate customer support showed me a few tricks which has brought my broadband speed up to 7MB Download.

If you have any problems, a general query or just want to know if you can improve your speed at all Xilo will respond within 48 minutes and not the 48 hours most companies aim for.

Whatever your ISP I can guarentee Xilo will beat them for BT's IP Stream ADSL Max broadband and if C&W/Bulldog have LLU installed on your exchange you have access to the Pro (up to 24MB download) package.

All in all Xilo beat every ISP out there.

Previously I was with *2 access broadband and my experience was lets say unforgettable, overall rated at about 0,00001 out of 10 therefore as soon as a could I've started to look for some decent provider.

Ispreview provided great database for that and Xilo was my choice ... although 99% of positive reviews was kinda suspicious but no worries it's definitely worth it.

Service went online as promised and the difference to previous provider although using same modem, cables etc. is absolutely amazing.

Such an improvement over existing broadband services. Brilliant, helpful, friendly support. At first some problems but after just one ticket the problem was resolved and found to actually be on my end (internal wiring).

I can honestly say that the move to Xilo has allowed the internet on an old non-LLU exchange to become usable again :-)

After being on Orange on their "Unlimited" service for 2+ years (yep, the "free laptop" one), their "fair usage policy" which involved capping the line at 500k and not telling me, I mistakingly signed up to Sky connect..... Fortunatley I realised within the 8 day cancellation period that the 500k Orange cap was better than the Sky connect line after 4pm....

The move from Sky was very quick (thankfully) and all went to plan, almost immediatley from rebooting the router, my line speed increased significantly.

After being with them for a couple of weeks, my line speed has been consistently 6mb+, very stable connection and very quick ping speeds for VOIP and gaming. After one short-term wobble with line speeds, the support team regardless of what time you email them (even at 2am), you get a reply from them very quickly and they are always helpful.

If you're looking for a Broadband provider, after being with Sky, Orange, Zen, Pipex, Freedom2Surf and now Xilo, I can recommend Xilo as a quick and very friendly and efficient ISP.

Have just joined Xilo after months of problems with another ISPs, I am on the Home 50 service which although is a wee bit more expensive is worth every penny. I gave them my MAC on Monday afternoon and was up and running at 5am on Thursday. Their site is so easy to navigate and these folks provide fantastic customer care.24 hours a day. The speeds I now obtain are a rock solid 1830/370, the joys of living in the country, compared with anything from 300/250 to 950/340 with my previous ISP.

I work in the Computer and Data Centre field and have a Masters in Computer Science. After recently attempting to be with www.fast.co.uk and having uncounted problems with very slow speeds that FAST were unable to resolve after 3 weeks of struggling with the BT Exchange (it was a nightmare), I switched to XILO's new LLU Pro service that bypasses the BT Exchange. And WOW!! My speed went from 400 to 10500 down and from 100 to 650 up when XILO got switched on! XILO's turned my service on exactly on schedule and it was super fast from Day 1! They have an amazing ticketing and support system that is far more professional than FAST. And they respond on weekends and evenings as well despite saying they don't. I have tried quite a few ISP's and must say that XILO is in another league above FAST and most others in both technology and support. If you can bypass the BT Exchange you will get much better speed and less problems. Go for LLU. XILO, BE, O2 all have this -- most others just use inferior BT broadband lines that they lease. I have been with Xilo for about a month now and I am extremely happy. Signing up was easy and the customer service assistant was extremely helpful and helped me choose a package which would suit my needs, unlike my last ISP who completely shafted me.
I can recommend Xilo very highly.

These guys have been great. I have recently moved flat which requires setting up a lot of utilities and other services and from a customer service and ease of use point of view, XILO are the rare exception. Everything has been handled brilliantly and my broadband has performed faultlessly and to specification. One fault, caused by a conflicting Sky TV installation was also remedied quickly thanks to some expert advice from Matt at XILO. From my experience with Sky, Im positive this would have been eye scratchingly labourious for them to sort out!

Full marks XILO and I recommend this company to to all my friends looking to switch services as well as those looking for an ISP.

I have been with Xilo for a month now and it has been flawless

First off getting setup was easy, I fired an order in and got it setup quickly. Xilo's website was very easy to use

The line was activated quickly and came with a static IP with no extra cost, I cannot argue with that.

Once it was all up and running I took time to explore their control panel and was very suprised as I now have free web hosting and control over the RDNS. RDNS control was a serious score as I had spent months arguing with virgin to get them to change my rnds and they refused

Chris in support managed to help me with the one problem I experienced which in the end turned out the problem caused by me

I would recommend Xilo to anyone
