I switched to this ISP from Andrews & Arnold because they were the first at my address to offer full fibre. I was quite nervous about the installation but even though I was awkward about where I wanted them to route the fibre they did as I asked and apart from a small hiccup with there being no light signal after the installation it was an issue upstream of me and fixed within a few hours. Price-wise it's a no-brainer, £55/month with A&A for a 160/30 service and 1TB bandwidth quota vs £35/month for 900/900 and no quota. In the 7 months I have had no service issues whatsoever, speeds have been broadly as advertised. The slowest I have seen it is 650-700mb during peak periods but that's acceptable on a 900mbit service. Pinging 8.8.8.8 fluctuates between 6.8 and 8.7ms. I have the BetterIP (static IP) add on for £5/month and my ipv4 address has not changed since the service went live. Some people complain about the wifi speeds but as I use my own router I am not affected, you can plug your own router in to the ethernet port on their ONT (fibre equivalent of a modem) and it doesn't require any special configuration - it's straight IP over Ethernet + DHCP, not PPPoE or anything else to worry about. So far I'm a happy customer, if this service level continues I will renew my contract at the end of the term. If not, FTTP is available via OpenReach now so I will switch back.

Having moved outside of the catchment area of Virgin Media a few years ago (I had been a broadband customer of Telewest/Virgin since 2001), I needed to find a new ISP. Having a reliable internet connection is crucial for my occupation and knowing I could only get DSL based services, I looked to ispreview to find the best-rated providers on the market and ended up going with AAISP because of their clear technical competence. I have zero regrets. Everything happened flawlessly. At one point I had an issue with my line sporadically losing sync because of a bridge tap being left on my line by Openreach but AAISP dealt with it immediately and professionally and it was clear that they knew what they were doing when dealing with Openreach.

Two months ago, I moved again, back into a Virgin catchment area but I also had the option of G.Fast. Knowing that Virgin still have no IPv6 and that their installers are trained monkeys who would barely bury their cables I decided to stay with Andrews & Arnold, the move went as smooth as the previous installation and I even kept my IP address allocation. Staying with AAISP means I don't lose IPv6 or have to put up with censorship/filtering. Yes, it's more expensive but in my mind, you get what you pay for. I think I'll be staying on this service until I can get FTTP.
