We've just uploaded a new monthly poll, which asks two questions: "
Roughly, how long have you been using your current ISP?" and "
Do you plan on changing ISP within 2008?". Results from the previous month’s survey can be found below:
What value for money does your ISP offer?
Very Good - 27%
Poor - 20.3%
Good - 18.7%
Average - 17.2%
Very Poor - 16.6%
Total Votes: 753
Interestingly there was an extremely wide degree of variation between how people rated their ISP’s "
value for money", with 46% placing their provider in the '
Good' to '
Very Good' categories. By comparison, 37% rated their ISP value as being '
Poor' to '
Very Poor'.
Though it's good to see the satisfied side of users nudging out on top by a margin of 9%, it's clear that a significant number of people still feel as though their ISP is not good value for money. This trend will need to be reversed lest providers lose more customers to churn, which will become increasingly important as the market begins to slow.
