Biscit's Business Broadband Bundle

Posted: 21st Jul, 2006 By: MarkJ
Biscit has launched an enterprise (business) version of its flagship voice and free broadband (ADSL) consumer package - freeMAX Office. The 'up to' 8Mbps package costs from £30 +vat per month and includes a free data backup service:

The product is unique. As users, SMEs will never receive another bill from BT for line rentals** and they can call other Biscit users at anytime at no cost whatsoever. In addition, each SME customer is provided a monthly allowance of 12 hours talk time to UK landlines at anytime, free broadband with up to 8 Mbps download and 448/832 Kbps*** upstream speeds, unlimited bandwidth allowance, and a free PC data protection**** backup service.

This includes anti-virus and anti-spam software, unlimited email accounts, global access to email via Biscit's website, 100MB email storage, 100MB web space, a static IP address, a fax-to-email service, a dial-up account for back-up or use when out of the office, unlimited 0870/0871 phone numbers, and a one page website. The superfast broadband package is available nationwide and users will be charged a one-off set up fee of £59.00.

As options, SMEs can also subscribe to the provider's enhanced broadband care solution for an additional £10 per month, as well as newsgroups for £30 a year, or £5 per month.

In the unlikely event that SMEs need customer support, customers can call upon Biscit's London technical teams every minute-of-the-year. Calls cost no more than 10p per minute from a landline, and average response time is under one minute.

As a further incentive for SMEs to sign up for freeMAX Office, Biscit is offering customers free Businessmax software to prepare legal paperwork for the limited period to September 1, 2006. With a retail price of around £300, SMEs can use the software to efficiently deal with a range of business-critical issues such as safety, debt recovery, contracts and letters. Visit http://www.businessmax.co.uk for further details.
--------------
*Terms and conditions apply. freeMAX Office is available on a minimum 18 month contract basis. Contention ratio is 30:1. freeMAX Office costs £30.00 per month for online orders paid by direct debit, or £31.99 for telephone orders. Price applies to users with an existing broadband service running on a BT landline. Customers without an existing Broadband connection but with a BT landline can sign-up for freeMAX Office for an additional fee of £60.00 including modem and filters. Alternatively, customers with a non-BT landline or no telephone service can also sign-up for freeMAX Office for an additional charge of £150.00 including modem and filters.

** Only users with single analogue telephone lines are eligible for freeMAX Office. Customers with multi-lines should call Biscit sales on 0870 383 0030, option 2, for options.

*** 832 Kbps upstream is available as an option subject to survey at an extra £6 per month.

**** Designed by software giant CA (Computer Associates), the software when installed on a computer can perform scheduled backups of important data. Using the DNA facility, users can store crucial PC settings. Users have 1GB of compressed storage included in the freeMAX package. If exceeded, additional storage will be charged at £3.99/month per GB compressed.
