Classic FM TV Goes Broadband

Classic FM has now expanded to include a broadband TV channel, allowing those with hi-speed Internet access to stream multimedia content onto their PC screens:
The new broadband channel will broaden the channels availability. The channel is currently available on Sky digital and digital cable television, but GWR is hoping the project will grow its existing audience reach into the homes in the UK that have broadband internet access.
Julian Rigamonti, Head of Classic FM TV commented: 'The streaming service enables us to extend the channel's potential reach to 2.5 million broadband homes and continue to engage new audiences with classical music.'
The netimperative.com item highlights only the latest in what appears to be a growth spurt for content services, which could ultimately help to push the adoption of faster broadband products.
