ISPreview has today put online a new article - ‘
Year in Review 2006’, which takes a look back at all the changes that have helped to define the past 12 months. This piece is designed to provide a simplified (readable) overview of the industries main events.
Normally we’d place such a piece online during early January, yet this would conflict with vacation time, hence it’s a few weeks earlier than planned =) :
2006 has seen the pace of unbundling take-off, going from 250,000 lines unhooked in January to over 1,000,000 by November. Come May 2007 it’s expected that the UK will play host to no less than 1,500,000 unbundled lines. Typically getting involved in this aspect of the market doesn’t come without cost and requires a great deal of initial investment.
