Powerline Communication World Summit

The PLCForum is organising the first ever world summit of broadband PLC (Powerline Communication) associations. It will be held on 10th June 2003 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Brussels, Belgium:
The first World Summit of PLC organisations has been organised by the PLCforum to bring together all the main players in the field of Powerline Communications to encourage wider international co-operation between utilities, equipment manufacturers and regulatory bodies. In particular, the Summit will promote:
- Exchange of business plan and implementation models from deployments of PLC, now covering hundreds of thousands of properties worldwide
- Development and adoption of equipment standards to lower prices and ensure multi-source availability in support of large scale roll-out
- Clarification of the regulatory framework
