Summary: Sold Down The River!
January 26th, 2010 (Last Edited: January 26th, 2010)
Titan informed me that they are moving all their Enta-based customers over to a Vispa based serice - in my case, giving me less than 3 weeks notice.

I'm happy enough with Enta - and after reading reviews of Vispa, want nothing to do with them.

However, Titan have used my MAC (without my knowledge or consent) for the transfer - meaning that I cannot obtain another MAC code until after the move to the Vispa has been completed.

To begin using the Vispa service I will have to complete a new direct debit mandate - which I'm unwiling to do after reading about Vispa's poor billing track-record, with multiple payment payments being taken from accounts.

However, if I don't sign the mandate, Vispa/Titan will presuambly cease my service - meaning extra reconnecton costs with a new ISP of my choice, and the distinct possiblity of a period without net access.

If that happens I'll be seeing Titan in the County Court! - not to mentin investigating any possible breach of the DPA caused by the unauthorised use of my MAC code.

Titan were once very good - now they are very bad, and (imo) bordering on dishonest for using customer's MAC's in this way!
