Plusnet have just cut me off without warning. The reason is I want to spend more than £75 a month with them - every month. I thought that would be good business but no, a limit is a limit. Funny, that ever since I took out a contract with them they were happy to take up to £115 every month but have now changed their policy. Its not something you would expect - that an award winning provider - does not want your money?
Now I have no means to call abroad to family who are having serious problems or make business calls without resorting to paying for through the nose mobile phone costs.
Poor business sense. Yes their costomer service rep was excellent and tried everything to solve the problem. However, no one is there on a weekend that has any power to rectify these issues. Seriously not 24/7 phone or broadband help. Still I discovered too that banks don't do 24/7 direct debits either. Modern living!
As a broadband provider I would recommend them due to their patience in dealing with some BT inadequacies when I changed over and any technical problems but they are not phone providers really IMHO.
