Mobile operator Vodafone UK has launched a cheaper Vodafone Data Traveller package for customers who like to use their mobile internet / Mobile Broadband link while roaming around Europe's most popular countries (France, Germany, Spain etc.).

The service includes a daily allowance offering of up to 25MB (MegaBytes') of data usage for £2 a day. However, regular travellers on a contract can opt-in to the same service for £10 a month (note that you are still limited to a maximum usage of 25MB per day).

Consumer customers on contract price plans of £40+ per month (with at least 900 minutes), and whom are already benefitting from 5MB a day to use in Europe, will automatically have their allowance increased to 25MB.

The new deals will be available from 1st December 2010, although Vodafone's website is already promoting them.
