A&A have been supremely effective in wrangling BT to get me online ASAP after a house move, and to get bandwidth as high as possible. They were able to work around Openreach not being able to cope with emails with '+' in the localpart, were able to guide me on the magic words to use to expedite the installation, and were even able to get a second engineer to my premises on a day's notice after the first one failed to set up the line properly --- meaning my downloads are now 4x faster than they would otherwise be.

Their online control system is also unbeatable, and provides a fantastic level of detail and control and transparency -- down to the level of being able to automate BT line tests, push configuration changes to my router, and provide details bandwidth and latency statistics.

Their staff have gone out of their way to be kind and thoughtful, and they've been fantastically effective.

I only wish BT would offer FTTP! Though I gather that may be coming soon — if so, I'll definitely be switching up and staying with A&A!

I especially like the way I can contact sales or tech on IRC and get an instant response.

Shout out to Victoria and Michael who have helped me deal with some BT/OpenReach problems.

FTTP install very smooth this morning. The engineer was a lovely chap and put the hole through exactly where I wanted it. Awesome A&A response too for allowing me to break my existing ADSL contract early as FTTP had just arrived on my street the week after.

Speeds and network availability excellent.

I'd recommend them to anyone.

Recently migrated FTTC from Plus to a SOGEA product from AAISP. The migration couldn't have been smoother.
Clear communication from the point of order through to delivery.
Ordered an additional SOGEA connection with them (a second connection) which involved a new copper pair via Openreach. Openreach were tricky, but AAISP helped keep things on track.
Service via their connection is solid and the reporting tools available help me keep an eye on the quality of the connections.

Moved from Zen to save a few quid and am very impressed on all fronts though there was a bit of a bumpy migration of my FTTP connection due to an issue at BT with the migration order (BT's fault, not theirs or mine as all the correct information was provided) but they were very upfront and honest with the details.

Latency is consistently lower and I am blown away by the level of control they give their customers over their connection as well as how helpful and knowledgeable all the staff are.

I've used AAISP since 2002 and always had good service. That was with ADSL then VDSL. Sept 2023 Openreach finally installed FTTP and so I upgraded to a 160 Mbps service and switched my phone number to VOIP so I can get rid of the copper line rental charges. Everything went smoothly and I didn't even have to configure the FTTP router that AAISP sent me; it did it automatically. AAISP are not the cheapest but they are a technically competent niche provider with no stupid "if you want this press that" support services. You get through to a real human being straight away. It helps if you the customer know what you're talking about too.

I have been aware of the reputation of AAISP for a long time, but finally took the plunge when CityFibre announced their availability in my area.

Obviously, the installation was all down to CityFibre (and was great).

I love the control panel. It is great for tweakers. I love the facilities they have developed for the more technically inclined.

They are totally open and transparent, for example they tell you the uptime for your line. You can tell they really care about what they are doing, and they give you real confidence in the product and service you receive.

On cost, they are a bit more expensive, but when you experience what you get for that you realise it is totally worth it.

We migrated our FTTP connection from IDNet following a drop off of single thread speedtest results on the ThinkBroadband Speed Tester, having been dispapointed that IDNet felt this was an Internet issue and not tyheirs or their FTTP Supplier's (ZenW's) issue.

The migration went through as planned on 17th July and ever since the single thread and multi thread speeds have been nigh on identical.

The sales support was brillaint and the support desk exemplary with the only issue I have had to date (getting my AAISP VOIP line working on their FTTP connection).

My only regret is not having made the move sooner.

I migrated to the Home::1 FTTC product after being with my previous SP for many years and am completely satisfied with the experience. My pre-sales queries were answered promptly and the ordering process was straightforward. The service provision was completed as expected and without problem. I like the facilities provided by the Control Pages which are informative as well as giving a great deal of control to the EU. A technical query I had was also answered promptly, something I could never expect from my previous SP. The performance of my circuits is as expected and very stable, throughput appears better than previously (subjective).

Highly recommended for a high standard of service, both technical and customer.

Update August 2023

Just moved my BB back to AAISP who now also host my domains and VoIP connection. This was completed with ease as I expected and was completed without issue. Good communication from Sales beforehand answering my queries and excellent support later on with a L2TP issue. Happy to be back and pleased with the performance despite this just being my backup connection.

Moved to AAISP as a result of a seemingly insoluble series of disasters with Zen.

Easy move, off line for a few minutes. Clear instructions. I really like their router.

The control pages are a little daunting but the information is all there.

One minor problem which turned out to be a faulty cable (mine).

I would, of course, like an unlimited package but I respect their reasons for billing the way that they do, Being on the "about a 1TB usage family, I may be jumping from tier to tier a bit.

Wish that I had bitten the bullet months ago,

More expensive than some but you "gets what you pay for'.

Edit: spelling

Title: Great ISP
Have been with AAISP on a number of occasions. In terms of the actual internet service received, this has always been spot on.

Of late I feel the area that always lacks with AAISP is when something goes wrong. There's not always the urgency given to get things resolved. And certain members of staff can be rather rude and unprofessional when dealing with matters.

The technical support can at times be questionable in relation to an issue and also can be very counter productive to getting a resolution to a problem.

Based on recent experiences with AAISP I am currently considering my options to once again leave them. Simply based on the lack of progress to resolving a problem and unclear direction from them as to what they will do to resolve things.
