I joined regional broadband services here in Sheffield (Littlebigone) last February 2013. Since without notice ChessTelecom have taken them over. Right from February to the present I have had failure aftert failure of the service, resulting on consecutive days with no broadband and no phone services. The company have refused to even make a token award for compensation, let alone refund my mobile use.
I am in a vulnerable household with a disabled member of family and unfortunately I had a recent medical emergency and called "999". The service did not work, apparently because they have to program "999" and everything else in to their systems / server. Maybe other customers are affected - I have warned them of the possible consequences.
Customer Services are useless and the managing Director's office only offer insults.
I hate the company. I cannot leave because they say I will be in default of our contract, even though it is they who are not providing a dependable service. They have warned me that I will be charged fees for early exit, even though I have paid upfront over £400 for the service.
Clearly they are not bothered about their integrity and not bothered that they have placed someone vulnerable at risk because of their incompetence. I understand from forum sites that there are other issues with this company. Keep clear of them.
