I didn’t have the smoothest move, but since finding out gigabit went out of business I’m glad I wasn’t cut off!! My speeds really dropped but I spoke to Charles and RJ in support who was brilliant and they kept me updated with emails and text as they needed redirect my network traffic to stop me getting cut off, it’s fixed now and they gave me a month free. The time on hold could be better but at least you get through to someone in England who can actually help and cares. Thank you!

During my time at Home Telecom, on the rare occasion when I've had an issue with my connection, I am able to speak to customer support quickly and receive the correct support to resolve my issue. I would highly recommend Home Telecom to anyone.

Home Telecom used to be good when I joined them over 5 years ago but the customer service is now appalling. My ADSL connection has never been good but is now constantly dropping so I rang this morning to ask them to dial it down so at least I can keep a small constant connection but when they finally answered after 35 minutes on hold I got cut off! I believe this was deliberate because I started by pointing out (politely) the amount of time I had been on hold.

In summary, they may be reasonably priced but don't use them if you want to get through on the phone. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Title: Terrible
After being sold out by GigaByte Networks and now having Home Telecoms as my current provider, my speeds have halved, the connections drop out all of the time and is even worse on a weekend.

This company needs investing. How they even have a 1 star rating is amazing.

I've been a Home Telecom customer for the past two years, and it's been a pretty average. The service has been reliable and faster than what i was on before with BT. When I needed to call in for support, the wait times were reasonable just about what you'd expect.

I needed to add my husband to the account the process was straightforward, and the customer service lady handled it efficiently without any complications.

As my contract is up for renewal, it's a solid option if you're looking for something reliable without any frills, they've offered my a loyalty discount to renew so looking at the other companies reviews, i think I'll stay with Home Telecom

This company has a lot of one-star reviews across various review sites for a reason, they are absolutely awful.

Their billing system does not work properly and can't always handle 99p correctly. When other reviewers mentioned this I couldn't believe it but I kid you not.

Their support line is always swamped so expect an hours wait to get through. If you do persevere then be prepared for platitudes and assurances but very little else.

If you send an email expect to wait many days for a reply, if you get one at all.

If you have any complaints then you're out of luck as they are not registered with the ombudsman, only the toothless 'arbitration service'. Oh, and the complaints section on their website doesn't work properly.

Their 'web portal' looks like it was made a couple of decades ago, it has no modern security features, no option to secure your account with multi-factor authentication and no accessibility support.

Even BT are better than these guys!

I have recently been switched over from Cuckoo, I was initially a bit worried as I had previously always been very happy with Cuckoo service.

However I didn't need to be worried, the service has been as good if not better. When I called in looking for a bit reassurance that nothing would change, I was reassured by the Billy that my pricing and speed would stay the same, which it has done.

I have seen no difference in my speed or connection too so I am now a very happy customer.

I've been using Home Telecom for a year, and overall, I'm quite satisfied. The internet connection is reliable, with consistent speeds and minimal downtime, which is great for work and entertainment. Customer service is helpful, I've used the live web chat and 24/7 support once.

The installation process was smooth, and the provided equipment works well without issues.

It's not the cheapest but with over 60 devices in a busy house it is very reliable.

I was forcibly switched over when Cuckoo decided to sell a portion of their customers mid contract with no warning. When I log in to their portal I can see almost no information about my account, I can't change or cancel. The website in general is very poor. I will be leaving as soon as possible.
