Been with idnet/Fibreheroes for 18 months. Just came to end of contract and was expecting a £3 price rise, but no, ... they sent me an email to say they would switch me to a monthly rolling contract at the same price. I'm now paying less that I would be if I signed as a new customer. I wish more companies would treat their customers the same way. Oh, service is exceptional. Always get rated speed. In 18 months I have had two brief dropouts. When I phoned, they were aware of the problem and on the case. Service returned in less than 30 minutes. Help desk open 24/7/365!

Title: Love 'em
Have to say that they're an absolutely excellent ISP.

- Friendly, knowledgeable service.
- No foisting rubbish ISP routers (that you'll never use) onto you.
- A useful/informative (albeit hideous) user control panel that also shows network status.
- The option for a month-to-month contract (read: no exit fees), so you're with them because you want to be; not because you have to be.

Rock on, IDNet. Wish I'd joined you much sooner.

As a previous Virgin Media Business customer, I needed the reliability VMB provided with a good SLA but with a faster upload as I run some services from home.

iDNET were fantastic as they not only answered the call very quickly, but the lady I spoke to was technically competant and was able to answer all my technical questions straight away (like using my own router, which VLAN to tag, how to set up the connection).

Within a day of signing up, I received an email with all the technical information required to log onto their network. Everything was clear and reassuringly technically precise. No ambiguity.

The service had to be physically installed by CityFibre where they installed the 2.5Gb ONT exactly where I wanted it, working with my as it wouldn't have been the standard choice.

The services came live within a few minutes and have been fault-free since, providing pretty much the full gigabit line speed.

Having a fixed IP address with no CGNAT means I can run services with no port or address translations and my personal firewall is running very smoothly with no issues at all.

iDNET might not appear necessarily the cheapest, but once you consider the quality of service along with technical support, fixed IP and no CGNAT included as standard, I think they offer a superb deal that beats most of the competition.

We have been with IDNet for at least five years having moved from a Zen broadband package. The reason we moved back then was that our experience with technical support from Zen was very frustrating and almost as if they were trying to do the least possible to help.
Since moving to IDNet we have used their technical support 3 times and each time the support was excellent. Twice the issues were down to BT the other was a configuration issue we had in our router.
Since switching to CityFibre with IDNet about 6 months ago we have had no issues at all and the speed and more importantly stability has been excellent. The CityFibre installers did a great job installing the fibre into our home.

Coming up to a year with IDNet.
Still very happy with their service.
On the two occasions I had problems, they were very polite and helpful, in both cases the actual issue was with BT.
For me, two important features are IPv6 support and a fixed IPv4 address.

I was steered to IDnet by a colleague. They are splendid in all respects.
I made a CityFibre with IDnet new connection at home {being initially skeptical of CityFibre}, and being impressed, we put the same in at work.
Things go fast and simple with this company.
I would {and do} strongly recommend them to others, and especially to technically competent users who want clean unblocked internet.

I was an OR customer of Cuckoo that moved when they decided they could no longer provide a service to OR.

I had heard and read some of the very good reviews for IDNET and decided to give them a try. I have to admit I’m not disappointed. The switchover was seamless and the service is excellent. Good liaison via email with their CS team was great.

The service hasn’t missed a heartbeat which for me important given our TV service is via Sky Stream. All in all I can see myself as a IDNET customer for years to come until CityFibre recommence their build in my home area when I will look at ISP availability once again.

City Fibre connected my road a few months ago, so when my contract was due to finish with my current fibre cable provider I looked through the City Fibre suppliers pages at TrustPilot reviews for a company to move to.

The sign up process for IDNet was easy, I received a new router a few days after signing up, a couple of weeks before I was due to be connected.

City Fibre were very good at running a new cable to my chosen position at the side of the house (arriving within the time period arranged)

The IDNet service was up and running by the time they left, I'm on the ultrafast 500 service, a speedtest showed my upload and download speeds to be in the 490's.

Whole process and service has been great, no issues, would recommend

I've been with iDnet from the day my very first web site went live. That was some years ago!

Since then, and apart from hosting web sites and multiple email accounts, they have been my sole ISP. They also provide my broadband connections and phone lines too.

I work and travel worldwide and rely on bullet proof connections, file delivery, service and support, all of which they provide.

Customer service is personal and exceptional.

For me, they are the best out there.

The team over at IDNET have been extremely useful and helpful.
I placed an order with them and was able to get next day installation via my contacts at Openreach, they provisioned the service and installed an Adtran ONT and did the necessary splice work.

Once installed the service was rock solid, the only issue was with the Zen Backhaul which was unstable and kept having latency spikes.
This is unfortunately a known issue of Zen backhaul and one that at the moment iDNET hasn't got a workaround for to my knowledge, other than this there were no outages, and I would highly recommend iDNET, especially for one month contracts such as I had.

I would like to thank their team for their help however I did leave due to the Zen Backhaul
