First-class service. The support staff are experts and have always solved any problems I've reported. Speed is as good as I would expect at my distance from the FTTC box. If only I could get FTTP from them!

been with IDNet since circa 2010 an 18 month break when i moved house as they did not offer G.Fast.
What a mistake to make, as soon as contract was up I moved back!

I chose IDNet on the back of good reviews on the old ADSL review website. It's been very good all round for me. I've used them since about 2005. I've gone several years without any downtime, maybe the worst has been a drop out for half an hour some years. Well worth the money.

Working from home a lot, I need reliable connectivity and help when things go wrong. The internet speed is decent but the real plus for me is the service: if something goes wrong you can quickly talk to someone who knows what they're doing and won't read off a script at you.

Moved to IDNet from TalkTalk who raised prices mid-contract after promising not to. Originally migrated to SOGEA 80/20 but FTTP became available. IDNet made it really easy to upgrade - signed up for UltraFast Standard at 330/50 but in the last fortnight IDNet have kindly boosted speed again without further cost to 550/75. As a homeworker, service has been noticeably more stable than TalkTalk both on FTTC and FTTP. Would unequivocally recommend.

I have been with IDNet for just over one year.

The only hiccup was right at the start which was dealt with very quickly and efficiently and was down to an Openreach issue.

On the occasion I have contacted support it has been a very quick and efficient service. Network wise they have great peering and latency always seems to be good.

Compared to the previous ISPs IDNet has been a real breath of fresh air! At renewal time I have previously always churned to another ISP, this time I have committed to a second year

We've been with IDNET since 2009. We are in a rural location with overhead cables and have had a number of issues over the years, all down to OpenReach. IDNET have always taken responsiblity for getting the problems resolved and keeping me updated (without me having to chase them). It is rare to get such good service theses days - they even answer the phone promptly. This excellent customer service is the reason I have never considered moving to another provider.
We use ADSL connection and so speed is largly dictated by distance from exchange and has always been good (around 9Mb)though has dropped to just over 7Mb following OpenReach's repairs to a cable.

Have been with IDNet since 2012 and have always found them to be extremely helpful and responsive. So important to have support that isn't halfway round the planet from home and thus manned by people who simply don't have a clue about your personal circumstances.
In a village environment, ADSL speeds are not high (around 2.5 meg) but plenty good enough for our household's basic requirements. There is unfortunately no fibre through this village, if there was I would upgrade my account with IDNet with no hesitation.
I have also put our telephone landline with them now, the transfer was done efficiently and within the quoted time-span. We aren't "heavy users" so the pricing and package suits us very well.
I have a family member elsewhere in the country also using IDNet's fibre service and he is very happy with it.
The fact that I've stayed with them for nine years says all you need to know. They simply do what it says on the tin...provide an excellent service and support.

IDNet is probably the best ISP for consistent, reliable service and customer support I've used since my Zen and Blueyonder days - I've never used AAISP, but I feel I get their high level of service and expertise at much lower prices.

My connection has been fast and rock-solid since installation, and their support team are able to deal easily with more advanced queries and requests without forcing you through a dumbed-down scripted first-line support. I have 70mbps down and 7 up in a small village, a decent IPv4 range and a whole /48 of IPv6 connectivity. Latency is superb and to top it all they are a local company.

I can't believe some of the very negative reviews I've seen, which veer dangerously close to "IDNet killed my puppies", not my experience at all, would 100% recommend.

Switched from BT at the end of 2018 and haven't looked back.

We've had a few issues with the connection, but those were all down to the Openreach copper to the house and nothing to do with IDNet - their helpdesk were always really helpful when getting those issues resolved. On that note - I like how they're never condescending like other helpdesk people I've spoken to with other companies - I'm an IT Consultant, and while I don't know everything about telecoms, I know a fair bit, and IDNet's help always cut through the obvious "have you tried this or that.." and get to the real problem quickly. I like that.

We live in a country village, so appreciate we don't get the best speed - BUT the IDNet connection is still faster than we ever got with BT and more importantly than that duringt lockdown and home working has been reliable.

Also really like the no nonsense charges - we pay a monthly fee (which hasn't changes since we joined) and thats it - no fluff, and no sales person trying to cell me a mobile contract or TV service I don't want.

Maybe the likes of BT give extras that people may like - but for me IDNet concentrate on giving me a good service at a good price and that works well for me and would recommend them to anyone.
