Where to begin.... Poor service from the installation team, they used a white internal junction box on the outside of our house so the service became degraded after a few months due to water ingress which required another visit. It appears the network is over-provisioned in our town so during peak times our bandwidth is either capped or there is a bottleneck due to the amount of Virgin customers. The prices constantly increase every few years, the upload speeds do not keep up with the download speeds. After years of 'okay' service with some frustrations, when phoning to cancel, the first time I was cut off after holding for 45+ mins, when I tried another night it took 90 before I could speak to someone.

After eagerly watching Trooli over a number of months running cables up and down the road, people up poles, installing green boxes; I finally got an email that Trooli was live in my area.

I ordered their 300MB/100MB package which did the job for a number of years but have since been able to end contracts early and switch to their Black Friday deals which now means I'm on 1GB/1GB for an even cheaper rate.

In my 3.5 years with Trooli, I have had 1 outage which lasted about 12 hours and affected the whole town (which wasn't the fault of Trooli, damaged cable miles away) and I only needed to contact their support team once when my ONT got replaced and the new unit was incorrectly provisioned, so I wasn't getting my 1GB upload. [I know, first world problems....]

But no complaints about their service or staff, internet speeds are constant and reliable, and pings to external sources are as a low 3ms on a good day.

If anyone from Trooli does read this, hopefully you have a Black Friday deal for your 2GB package this year :)
