Sold a 500Mbps service, very close to tower. Yes, accepted that under normal loads it would probably be half that, which it was, initially.
Until a FIVE DAY complete system outage. The 4G 'fallback' was pointless as this was overloaded. It was just about possible to send/receive text emails. 4G/5G cellular was also down so as we stupidly have Three cellular we had zero comms. This was not in the countryside, but a major urban area.
Next issue was that all remote access to anything requiring SSL authentication stopped working - so no access to NAS, security cameras, UniFi network controllers etc. Could not log in to secure work email. Three had blocked a critical MTPP port rendering any such SSL access broken. This took TWO WEEKS to resolve.
Let's be clear at this point that the Indian call centre support is beyond hopeless: it is simply a Level 1 box-ticking idiot test. Everything ends up at 'factory reset the modem' (which has NOTHING to do with ANY of the issues), and then when they manifestly fail to solve anything, you are referred to "Customer relations" whose ONLY offer is not escalation, but to give you a free contract termination.
Now the 500Mbps service drops EVERY DAY between 5-10pm to around 50Mbps. Either it's been grossly oversold, or possibly yet another technical snafu. No resolution in sight.
