A new IDATE study has revealed that ultrafast fibre optic (FTTH/B/P) broadband internet access services in Europe (EU-35) can now reach 25 million homes after growing by 26% during H1-2011. The UK telecoms operator, BT, has also appeared for the first time with 250,000 homes passed.
