Oftel today has released the new complaints league table with BT Openworld still top of the league table. Complaints are down this year with
Oftel only receiving 5,235, between October 1st 2002 and March 31st 2003 the previous 6 months they received 6,800.
The telecoms regulator receives one complaint per thousand BTo customers, compared with just one complaint per 3,000 customers from the likes of Demon and NTL.
Although soon-to-be-scrapped BT Openworld is still head and shoulders above the industry on complaints, these latest figures are an improvement on the last time the regulator carried out this little exercise.
Although this improvement was welcomed by Oftel boss, David Edmonds, he believes more can be done.
"I would like to see companies doing more towards improving their customer relations, so fewer consumers contact Oftel with queries or complaints," he said.Oftel Official Stats released today.
