You will never get this customer service elsewhere; Everytime I called the team had been very helpful. I moved in to my new flat and had no connection and previous tenants had a BT broadband and the line was closed down. In a week time they have activated the line and sorted everything out for me. The internet connection is perfectly stable and exactly as advertised. The service they provide is definitely the next generation of ADSL. A really trustworthy company. Speed is perfect, no lag in online games; Perfect streaming speeds for Youtube etc. The customer service is eager to help you on every subject and overall ICUK should be one of the best broadband providers in the UK. Definitely think before you buy broadband for ICUK is the best option for you if you are gaming or watching videos on the internet or simply anything! You might find the price a little bit expensive for you but I have no problems with it, I get the service I pay for and thats how it should be, instead of paying your money on phone bills sorting your connection out rather pay that on your monthly payment and avoid all those problems if you ask me.

Summary: Good service here

I recently asked ICUK to sign us up to their Option 5 £25 per month service, and I'm getting 13Mb down and 1Mb up.

At times, the line drops for a few seconds, and then returns immediately afterwards, but this was the case with our previous providers, so it's probably the line rather than the provider.

I signed up to ICUK following the positive reviews here, and I haven't been disapointed. I have spoken to Mark, Niall and I think Paul on their support desk and all have been helpful setting up my email and Netgear router, pointing out that a firmware upgrade would improve performance and general help and advice on the service.

I noticed webafella's review has changed about three or four times here, and he's reviewed other providers, too. I have to say his current rant is not my experience, so I suspect he/she is a bit of a loony.

I have sinced signed up a neighbour and ICUK seem to be heading them in the right direction.

My connection was also stable and fast. I also think they use traffic shaping although they claim not to and this is only my opinion. Then my emails would take longer to respond to (my last one they didn’t even bother to respond). In the end, the premium price didn’t justify what I was getting since great service is what your paying for.
I am not happy with support to be honest and I find them to be quite expensive.
The line is good and they have a lot of services if you can afford them.
I would recommend them and I guess if you can afford them you may as well go with Xilo.
What I like about their connection is that it is stable and the line quite good to be honest.
Services- 9 They have a lot of services for those who can afford them and the control panel is amazing to look at.
Support- 4 I was not happy with this because I found out they do not use tickets but a general email address causing confusion and a lot of problems. I also did not find them to be well, open regarding issues.
Speed- 8 Great line and steady
Value - 2 I was paying £25 and with a Dynamic IP address and the support I was receiving, I felt I was paying to much but hey, this is just my opinion.
I would recommend them and it may be worth your time if you check out Xilo for improved support. Up to you.

I came accross ICUK from this website after searching for a possible new provider after moving house.

Having previously been with BT for many many years, i found BT to be totally useless when it came to moving my services over to the new property. This included wanting to charge me £130 to install a new line when i clearly did not need one, there being a perfectly decent line in the house.

I contacted ICUK who confirmed the line was fine, and could be activated in 1 day for a mere £30. They reactivated the line, setup our landline for normal calls and then set about providing me with broadband services.

Throughout the whole process they were just excellent. Made everything so easy, where BT were causing me massive headaches. Emails to ICUK were answered within 30 minutes, phone calls instantly and actually speaking to someone who clearly knew what was going on was just something i have not exeprienced in this industry. ICUK is easily the best company i have ever dealt with, fullstop.

Literally this morning they ordered ADSL on my line, it was active within 2 hours. Just brilliant. I cannot recommend these guys enough, if your looking for a quality connection, great service, and really a very reasonable price, look no further.

I went for option 5, and really its got to be the best deal on broadband in the UK at the moment when you factor in the service. £25 a month for unlimited broadband, up to 16Mb/s download, 1.3Mb/s upload and just the best service you can imagine.

Once again, highly recommended.

Summary: Good speed and performance

After poor speed and performance for the first week during the training period, speeds have increased to 4.5MB on my up to 8MB line and are now steady at all times of the day. As I live at the furthest reaches of my BT exchange, this is the best speed I can get, and better than most other ISPs have given me.

Am still experiencing occasional browsing lag, but Support have been very helpful in sorting out problems.

A good ISP if you can stay within 20GB a month peak usage on the standard package.
