I switched to ICUK after reading reviews on this site. I'd had good customer support from my previous ISP, but they couldn't solve the problem of very poor afternoon/evening download speeds. Our local village exchange is hardly a metropolitan hub but the 6.3 Mb/s I could get first thing in the morning was better than I'd been told to expect when we first went Max. That showed what was possible: but later in the day I struggled to get 2 Mb/s, often fell below 1, and not infrequently below 100 k.
Of the top-rated ISPs I chose ICUK because they responded very helpfully to my initial enquiries and because they offered a combined broadband/line rental package.
During the switchover they were brilliant. Every question was answered promptly and helpfully, and they showed no trace of impatience when the problem was of my own creating. Since I switched, the download speed has remained above 4 Mb/s and I can, for example, go back to watching BBC iPlayer - previously I'd given up even trying.
I know the rules for these reviews say don't give marks of 10/10 - but clearly other people have shared my excellent experience of ICUK and if I give them less I'll be pulling down their average score. That's something they certainly don't deserve.

It is so rare in this day and age and especially in the communications sector(having been a customer with 4 other isps that were all shocking regarding customer service) to find a company that still prides itself on 1st class customer service with staff who are fully trained and know what they are talking about. in the short time I have been a customer I have been so pleased with the way I have been treated from the transition of migrating over to fast accurate problem solving.

I've just migrated to ICUK following the positive reviews found on this site to their new 16Mb service.
I'm syncing at about 10Mb as I'm about a mile from my exchange, but it does live up to its name of being unlimited; I've downloaded about 200GB this month and have no problems with speed during the day when watching streaming video or the likes of iPlayer. Plus, everytime I ring support, someone helpful, friendly and knowledgeable has answered. Worth paying the extra few pounds per month for, really.
Whilst my old provider denied it, speeds would be much slower during peak hours, there was confusion over what was allowed, what wasn't during certain hours, or whether or not they shaped my connection accordingly.
Not to worry, a much better move all round, really.
High recommended.

I use ICUK at home and at work and have both a regular broadband connection and a higher spec business connection respectively.
I've had both for nearly two years and I'm very pleased with the service they've offered, especially in guiding through the necessary settings for my equipment and providing me advice on effecient usage, security and firewall levels.
Ideal for my data sensitive business and especially ideal for keeping the family safe at home.
None of that was remotely available with my previous supplier.
Highly recommend.

I've been with ICUK for nearly five years now and I'm still with them, still happy and they're still answering my email within a few minutes of me sending.
Phone support's still good and the service is excellent, too.
Worth hanging on to in my opinion. Well done.
