free sky broadband uk logoBroadcaster and ISP BSkyB UK ( Sky Broadband ) has launched a new promotion offering 6 MONTHS FREE on their 'up to' 20Mbps Unlimited Broadband package (saving £60) for new customers joining Sky TV and taking Sky Talk Line Rental (£11 per month) and Calls (either Sky Talk Freetime (£0) or Sky Talk Unlimited (£5)).

Existing Sky TV customers who have NOT yet taken Sky Broadband but do have Sky Talk Line Rental and Calls (either Sky Talk Freetime or Sky Talk Unlimited) will also be able to add Sky Broadband Unlimited and receive the same deal.

In addition Sky is still offering a £25 Marks and Spencer's (M&S) voucher for new customers too. The new 6 month promotion is only available until 31st May 2010.

Yes but as my partner found out yesterday when he went to activate his new Viewing card they wanted £25 just to activate it. so Its Not exactly a FREE M&S voucher.

We wouldnt touch Sky ever again ..... Be warned.

Hmm that's the first I've heard about an activation charge on the viewing card itself, unless you're confusing that with the existing broadband service setup / activation fee in general. I never had to pay that, neither did my neighbour and we're both recent Sky customers.
