Internet and phone provider TalkTalk UK is hoping to win some of its lost broadband customers back by announcing a small reduction in the standard monthly cost of its packages, which will complement existing discounts.
TalkTalk Essentials (20Mbps speeds, 40GB usage, unlimited evening/weekend calls) has been cut from £6.99 to £6.50 per month, while
TalkTalk Plus (20Mbps speeds, unlimited usage, unlimited anytime calls) has dropped from £14.99 to £14.50.
Customers will still have to add £12.60 per month for line rental, although all of the broadband prices are currently being offered at
half-price anyway and their
connection is free.
