BT Offers GBP50 Sainsburys Voucher with Broadband Bundles

National UK telecoms and internet provider BT has announced that new customers who order (online) any of its home broadband packages (including bundles with tv and or phone services) will now also be able to claim a £50 Sainsbury’s Gift Card voucher.

Global networking kit manufacturer Buffalo Technology has today announced the launch of its new AirStation™ 1750 Wireless 802.11ac Gigabit Dual Band Router (WZR-D1800H-EU) to the UK market, which uses the latest WiFi technology to deliver “gigabit” wireless networking speeds of up to 1300Mbps.

Budget internet provider TalkTalk has this week joined Sky Broadband, Orange UK (Everything Everywhere), O2 UK (BE Broadband) and Virgin Media in preventing their customers from being able to view The Pirate Bay website over internet copyright infringement (piracy) abuse. BT is expected to follow.

Mobile Operators Vodafone and O2 UK to Start 4G Network Sharing

Mobile phone operators O2 UK (Telefonica) and Vodafone have today officially entered into a new Network Sharing agreement that will help them to “deliver the capability for a nationwide” deployment of “4G” superfast Mobile Broadband services and close the Digital Divide between rural and urban areas by targeting 98% indoor population coverage across 2G / 3G by 2015.
