The High Court in London has today ruled that YouView, which offers a subscription-free broadband based TV (IPTV) service via retail and through ISPs like BT and TalkTalk, infringes upon a trade mark (YourView) owned by online billing firm Total Ltd.

Several Internet Service Providers are this morning reporting a number of seemingly related Major Service Outages (MSO) on BT Wholesale’s broadband network, which appears to be causing issues of intermittent Internet connectivity across England’s East Anglia region and some of the surrounding areas (e.g. Norfolk, Suffolk, North Essex).

Cable operator Virgin Media (Liberty Global) is getting close to announcing the launch of their next SuperHub 3 router (Model VMDG490), which among other things is anticipated to feature the latest 802.11ac spec with support for wireless local network (WLAN) speeds of up to 1300Mbps.
