Mobile operator 1p Mobile has recently introduced a couple of new Pay Monthly plans to complement their usual Pay As You Go (PAYG) offerings, which will now bundle in up to 200GB (GigaBytes) of monthly data (mobile broadband) alongside the usual pledges of “no contract“, “no credit checks” and unlimited calls / texts.
The operator normally offers a core PAYG tariff of 1p per minute for calls to UK landlines and mobiles, 1p per text to UK mobiles and 1p per MB of data, although customers still need to buy a £10 top-up every 120 days in order to use that. But 1p Mobile also offer an array of Pay Monthly style plans with “no contract” (i.e. it’s more of a 30-day rolling contract).
Until recently the biggest Pay Monthly style plan you could get came with unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 50GB of data for £15 a month. But one of our readers (credits to Greg) has spotted that they’ve now introduced two additional plans with 100GB of data for £20 a month and 200GB for £30 a month. This is good, albeit perhaps not as attractive as some of the “unlimited data” plans available at a similar or lower price from rivals – Summary of Unlimited Mobile Data Plans.

Wish 1p mobile have 5GB data, unlimited texts and calls for £5 a month.
They do – just you have to pay another £5 on top and get another 5G with it – honestly as if £1 a GB is not cheap enough…
I am with them for their classic PAYG – It suits me fine as I use wifi calling all of the time and make very few voice calls (as most people these days) but the new offerings are nice to have when you need them. 200GB elsewhere is cheaper but 200GB on EE is much more – so it’s a good deal.
I am not interesting on 10GB with unlimited calls & texts for £10 a month. I can see they have £3 for unlimited calls & texts but no data is rather odd (should including free 300MB every months)
I can see they only do £6 a month with these two boost to add on:
Unlimited calls and texts† £3
1GB† £3
Total per month £6
Keeper, At least get your facts right before mocking, It’s 1p per mb not 1p per GB. A huge difference. £10 a GB!
I was referring to the £10 for 10GB deal..
Anyway now things have changed – £10 gets you 10GB £15 get you 50GB and £20 gets you an insane 200GB! – so if it’s okay with you I will go ahead and say that’s 10 per GB..?
I know it’s 1p a MB! I did a speedtest by accident on my 1P sim – and well this was the result. https://ibb.co/SvVcdM1
Safe to say I am now back on the £20 bundle (although I am “topped up” until December 2024. https://ibb.co/84fFqvC
10p per GB even
put £30 on extended by 120 days till Aug 2023 – migrated in and for a year extra for some reason so another £10 on 120 days to get to December – and then well the rest of the credit (lol) doh!
Oh well, live and learn
Maybe you should go for http://www.smarty.co.uk £6 for 6GB unlimited texts and minutes. No contract.
Performance between Three’s 4G and EE’s 4G is huge depending where you are, so not a good choice for some. But it’s a good suggestion for those in good Three areas.
I got good Three 5G I get decent EE 5G too. I just had enough of Three so cancelled my 2 sims last week and paid them about £9 to get rid.. Never again!
EE want (on a 1 month term) £28 for 125GB and £39 for unlimited – so 200GB for £20 is amazing!
Phil, I suppose some people only want calls and texts and don’t need data so £3 a month for unlimited calls and texts is pretty good value. Asda doing the same for £4. 1pMobile also give you the option to pay £36 for the year for unlimited calls and texts and if you do that they throw in 250MB of data per month for free for the year
Old news as I shared this with the forum here back on the 26th Oct, link below to prove it.

Good to see ISP Review catching up eventually.
Well done you, but as I’ve said many times before, it is impossible for me to read every comment and post on this site – especially when embedded deep in a different thread. I am not a robot that runs 24/7. If you spot a development or have a news tip, then please drop me an email, or private message on the forum.
Good on you. I sent in 9 e-mails with hints and stuff about the upcoming Plusnet/EE Merger and they all got ignored. I am part of the team who are sorting it too!
So at least you got noticed. Oh well other ISP “news’ sites were happy to answer/take the info/run with it instead.
Am i getting this wrong, I just moved to Smarty and have a £7 monthly fee for 12gb and Unlimited txt and unlimted calls. I don’t think £7 for 12gb of data is much and also given fact that i can use the data in Europe.
