At present most 5G networks are data-only (mobile broadband) services, but EE (BT) has revealed that it recently carried out the UK’s first call over 5G in the network using Voice over New Radio (VoNR or Vo5G) technology. Internet provider File Sanctuary has just informed us that they’re lowering prices for both new and existing customers on their Openreach based Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) and SOGEA (FTTC) broadband packages. The ISP is also dropping the price with immediate effect for those who are mid-contract – the opposite of what big ISPs do.
