I have been with Supanet now for over 3 years and have only ever had one problem, and this was resolved with a single phone call. They have also upgraded my account up to the current 8MB on a regular basis, without any prompting from me.

There may be better providers out there, but I am of the opinion, \"if it ain\'t broke, don\'t fix it.\"

Title: Do not use
If I could give a lower score for cost, service and support I would

The first 6 weeks of the contract involved connection speeds less than dial up - for the remainder of the contract the service was down on a frequent basis

SERVICE AND SUPPORT ARE NON EXISTENT - THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION TO CUSTOMERS - This is to the point you it was virtually impossible to get through to any department, even though there were massive problems the support department managed to feign ignoance to any issue

IF YOU USE THIS ISP YOU ARE ASKING FOR TROUBLE

THE WEBMAIL IS CRAP AS WELL

Been with Supanet for 2 years. After 1 year many ISPs offered much faster services for less money so I wanted to leave. Supanet said they would match the speed+price if I stayed, so I did.
My main gripe arose recently. Most ISPs use proxy servers on residential accounts. This helps cut bandwidth use, speeds up browsing and allows easy logging. I have no problem with this. BUT Supanet decided to change error pages to display their own custom page packed with adverts! I find this unacceptable for a paid service and invasive. You have to pay extra for a business account to get rid of them. I will be leaving Supanet shortly because of this.

As supanet only offer a speed of 2MB at the moment, I tried to change my isp to one who offers 8meg

I was asked to provide a MAC code and telephoned supanet to ask for this.
They very rudely told me it was not a company policy to provide this and if I wanted to leave them, to terminate my service.
This would mean being without internet access for a few weeks till my line was taken by my new isp.

It would of been so much easier had they just gave me the code and allowed a migration to take place.

Matter of factly they DO allow other customers to migrate to THEM

Not a good company at all

Still not giving MAC codes.
In fact after attempting to get one 3 times,
the person sounded very proud of the fact that they were not listed on the OFCOM site as being part of the agreement to supply codes.
Other than price the other reason for leaving is that I connot send E Mails to a friend in US, as his ISP ( AT&T ) will not accept mail from Supanet. Four messages to Supanet have not solved the problem.
