Title: A1 service
After having issues with BT /Talktalk/EE for very different reasons, two tech and one billing I decided to try the new kid on the block. Read loads of bad reviews if honest for all of them so decided to go by price.

Switched over on the agreed date by 9:30am which shocked me. ( big tick in the box)

Speed wise , higher than what I have had with BT/TalkTalk/EE in that order with BT the slowest, see other reviews for more info. No issues with latency. Now holding at 15GB on Fibre due to distance from cabinet. Usual bedding in speed changes at one point I thought I was going to get 17GB but it has now loked at 15GB which I am well pleased with at £22 including free line rental. Very stable service, billing all works via single app on phone for Mobile/Broadband and Landline calls. Yes calls are slightly more expensive but I use my mobile as unlimited calls so my landline is very much redundant now.

So yes I know Vodafone has had some billing issues etc as seen on older for reviews but for me I have had zero problems. Faster speed than all my other 3 suppliers over past 18 months , no latency issues or billing issues. So for me happy I swapped plus cashback of £32 quid cashback from Broadband Genie.

I switched to EE around six months ago after a bad experience with TalkTalk and its billing department/hacking etc. EE offered 50% discount, signed up switched over, and then the price discount was removed. Several complaint calls anf they reinstated the 50% discount. Also they offer an extra 10GB mobile data for existing mobile customers, they failed to point out that if you already have 20GB they wont apply anothe 10, in the small print but I missed it, so my fault but they did say they would on the phone.

Speed wise it was quicker for the majority of the time in Comparison to TalkTalk and also BT my previous supplier, BUT they did suffer major latency issues, also using their DNS did create issues with DNS lookup fail. So I always used Google DNS instead. With price change mid contract I was offered a no fee exit , so I have taken the options and switched to Vodafone Home Broadband. Customer service is not very good as they dont even understand their own bills and i have had to explain for instance now that I have left why they owe me money due to billing errors which is not very good.

Router was ok, except with apple kit, so ended up buying a better one so that impacts the value

I took by broadband when I first moved into my house two years ago. Initial speed for fibre due to location where about 7GB , dont laugh but I am a fair distance from the cab.

Billing ok, suffered several speed issues as router would end up runnning at 1GB download and nothing else connected. Reboot would bring the speed back up but it was a daily issue. Several calls to BT usual, we will charge you £x if its your equipment, despite me having only one socket and their router connected directly to it and no other devices even a phone. So all their equipment, engineers visited and no faults found inside, kept saying its my fault. In the end after a huge email argument and pointing out some of the contractual obligations I left and went to TalkTalk, they got an engineer out and he immediately found the fault with the overhead wires to the post needing replaing. Shame BT could not fix it, even though they send the same Openreach engineers to listen to the customer. This was 12 months ago now but its still a fair review as had three suppliers over 18 months.
