Home and business ISP Demon Internet UK (THUS Group, Cable and Wireless) has introduced a new range of Assured Rate broadband packages, which promise to deliver a minimum download speed at any time of the day or night, even during periods of peak usage.Prices start at £30 +vat per month for the baseline Assured Rate deal (12 month contract), which offers download speeds of up to 20Mbps, uploads of up to 1Mbps, no Fair Usage restrictions, UK based technical support, a 48 hour SLA or 24 hour enhanced SLA and prioritised business traffic.
Matt Cantwell, Head of Demon, says:

Demon’s Premier Broadband Assured Rate service gives customers the option of selecting how much assured download speed bandwidth they'd like; either 256Kbps, 512Kbps, 1Mbps or 2Mbps. This may seem expensive but in the modern world an assured rate can be quite valuable for business users.

What's the geographic reach of this service, is it just those exchanges enabled under the old Bulldog LLu program or have C&W expanded the otherwise limited footprint?

It is available on all C&WWorldwides exchanges which currently stands at 856 and is expanding.
