Neil Armstrong, products and marketing director, said: “Being online is so much a part of everyday life that people want their surfing habits to fit in with their daily routine rather than the other way around.
We’ve found that 85% of broadband users access the net through a wireless connection. This reflects the growing need for flexible surfing. This deal is one of a number Plusnet has made to retain its position as an award-winning, value-for-money internet service providers (ISP).”
PlusNet's survey also revealed that 10% of people had connected to the Internet while on the loo, with 35% preferring the bedroom. Naturally the household living room remains the most popular place for accessing the Internet.
