Virgin Media UK Cuts the Price of its Top Collections Broadband Bundles

Cable ISP Virgin Media UK has further reduced the price of its top two triple-play VIP Collection and Premiere Collection bundles, which both combine a premium superfast broadband connection with TV and phone services.

Under the new price Virgin’s Premiere Collection bundle will cost £28 a month for the first 6 months (£48 thereafter) and includes an “unlimited” 60Mbps broadband service (Traffic Management), 175+ TV Channels with two set-top-boxes (24 HD channels and TiVo), free installation, free router, 18 month contract and unlimited weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin Mobile plus a lot more.

The top VIP Collection bundle is much the same (£79 a month for 6 months then £99 a month) but with a less restrictive 100Mbps broadband service, 1TB TiVo box, 205+ TV Channels (37 HD channels) including Sky Sports F1, Sky Movies HD, Sky Sports 1 HD and Sky Sports 2 HD and Unlimited anytime calls. Both packages also require you to pay for a Virgin Phone Line at £14.99 a month.

The Premiere bundle also still includes a £75 account credit and the VIP deal includes a £100 credit.
