UK ISP Vispa Extend 100Mbps Wireless Broadband Deeper Into Warrington

Cheshire-based ISP Vispa has announced that the business variant of its City Wireless broadband network, which offers internet connection speeds of up to 100Mbps (Megabits per second), has been extended to reach the “majority of businesses” in and around Warrington town centre.

The unlimited usage service, which has recently re-opened to new customers after the first of several backhaul capacity upgrades were implemented (here), will now be available to local firms with prices starting from as little as £100 per month.

A Spokesperson for Vispa told ISPreview.co.uk:

“As more and more businesses make the move to Cloud Hosted service offerings for their email, data storage, telephony and customer management systems, it is imperative that they have good quality, but affordable connectivity solutions in place to cope with the bandwidth demand to access these hosted services.”

Vispa claims that it’s able to provision the service inside a 5 business day lead time and at a fraction of the costs charged by other connectivity providers for traditional fibre optic and copper based Leased Line services. Customers can, among other things, also expect to get a 99.99% uptime guarantee, 4hr Service Level Agreement, static IP addresses and the option of an un-contended connection.
