Broadband Satellite ISP Ethnet, a Hughes based virtual ISP (vISP), has revealed that it will be launching a new range of 12 services in the UK during January 2011. Naturally the packages aim to deliver faster speeds (up to 8Mbps) at lower prices, starting at £25.00 +vat per month for a basic 1Mbps download (128Kbps upload) option with 2GB (GigaBytes) of monthly usage allowance.

The Managing Director (MD) of UK ISP Aspire Internet, Tim Longton, has apologised to both his retail and wholesale customers today after its broadband service vanished for well over one week because of a "commercial contractual" dispute with the providers former supplier; Entanet UK. Sadly a delay in its efforts to re-connect the service have continued to cause frustration for customers.

The governments communications minister, Ed Vaizey, has warned that the cost of delivering a minimum broadband ISP download speed of 2Mb (Megabits per second) to everybody in the country by 2015 - Universal Service Commitment (USC) - will be "at least double" the previous administrations best estimate.
