Vodafone UK Launch Project to Bring 3G Mobile to Remote Rural Pubs

Mobile operator Vodafone and Pub is The Hub have today launched a new Rural Community Pub programme, which aims to bring decent indoor 3G mobile voice and data (mobile broadband) services to digitally isolated rural pubs.

The Hampshire Superfast Broadband project in England has revealed a roll-out plan (locations and time-scales) for their new extension contract with BT, which will push superfast broadband (24Mbps+) out to another 34,500 premises (“at least” 95% of the local population) by “mid 2019 or earlier“.

UK ISP BT Offers Cut Price Unlimited Broadband and Superfast FTTC

BT has today reintroduced their earlier summer discounts, which means that unlimited standard (up to 17Mbps) and superfast (up to 38Mbps BTInfinity) broadband packages have been cut to just £5 and £10 per month respectively. Sainsbury’s shopping vouchers worth up to £125 have also been added.
