Network builder FullFibre Limited has announced that their new Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) based gigabit broadband ISP network has finally gone live in the Herefordshire (England) market town of Leominster, which is home to around 12,000 people and was one of the very first locations added to their rollout plan.

The Independent Networks Co-operative Association and Point Topic have published their 2022 report into the impact of alternative “full fibre” (FTTP/B) broadband networks, which reveals that such providers grew their UK cover by 111% in 2021 (up from 110% last year) to cover 5.46 million premises and could hit 11.6m this year.

Macquarie Capital backed UK ISP Voneus, which holds a “near term” plan to cover 100,000 homes in rural areas (here) with their Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) broadband network, has revealed that they’ll soon be finished building across the villages of Payhembury, Whimple, Talaton, and Clyst Hydon in East Devon (England).
